Integrated Command and Control platform by Intellve powers up Varanasi Smart city project

Intellve’s award-winning Integrated Command and Control (ICCC) platform provided a state-of-the-art software system to collect data from security and integrated surveillance systems for smart cities, including the Varanasi Smart City project. The system analyzes data and provides actionable insights for enhanced safety, security, and citizen-centric services. This “Made in India” ICCC software, with its R&D center in Thane, Maharashtra, is the only platform in India offering multi-touch interaction with data objects. It is highly intuitive and features a user-friendly GUI. The ICCC manages responses within seconds, significantly improving communication and collaboration between various municipal services within Varanasi Smart City. This effective integration helped secure the 7th position for the city in the National Smart City Project among 100 other cities, further cementing its status as a leader in innovation.

The Urban Development Ministry urged city authorities to set up Integrated Command Control Centres (ICCCs) in all Smart Cities. However, the challenge of managing a city today lies in the limited ability to control and visualize data from separate information sources used for security, surveillance, and other citizen-centric services. The Varanasi Smart City project overcame these challenges with Intellve Solutions, which introduced cutting-edge technology to efficiently acquire, analyze, and visualize data, enabling effective city management.

Intellve ICCC operates and monitors smart components, including CCTV Surveillance Systems, Environmental Systems, Smart Lighting Systems, Solid Waste Management Systems, Geospatial Information Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Video Management Systems, Multi-Media Communication, Help Desk Systems, Variable Message Displays, Public Address Systems, Intelligent Traffic Management Systems, and Adaptive Traffic Control Systems, among others.

The ICCC detects irregularities or deviations from standard thresholds to facilitate rapid and organized mitigation responses. Collaboration and geospatial display have enabled seamless device compatibility and smoother functioning across campuses, townships, and smart cities. For Varanasi Smart City, the platform’s innovative geospatial visualization, as seen on the Varanasi smart city map, was pivotal for dynamic city management.

The city also reaps benefits from integrated services like prescriptive and predictive data analytics, public announcement systems, variable message displays, multi-media communication systems, enterprise management systems, Red Light Violation Detection (RLVD), Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems, speed violation monitoring, e-challans, mobility apps for QRT, video display and analytics, and comprehensive dashboards.

The ICCC platform offers multiple system and data integrations, including a powerful rule engine to trigger real-time alerts, message normalization based on CAP profile standards, live GIS map-based visualization and interactions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for incident response, integrated real-time dashboards, and an advanced data analytics platform for prescriptive and predictive analysis. Additionally, it is voice-enabled and integrates augmented/virtual reality for managing and responding to efforts, processes, and operations.

Through these innovations, Intellve has significantly contributed to the Varanasi Smart City project, offering a transformative solution for dynamic, efficient, and secure city management.
